About Dara Frank Creative
Hi there and welcome!
I'm Dara Frank, the founder, graphic designer, illustrator and artist behind Dara Frank Creative! Officially founded in February 2026, Dara Frank Creative (LLC) is a design company that specializes in graphic design, illustration, branding and much more. I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelors degree in Digital Design: Illustration Design in May of 2024 and have been doing freelance work since then. I've always been drawn to art, specifically illustration and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I love getting to combine my illustration and design skills to help create things for people! My goal is to be able to work on many unique projects and help bring my clients' visions to life.
Thank you for being here and I hope we can work together!
What inspired the name and logo for Dara Frank Creative?
I was struggling to create a design for my logo that felt right to me and one day before I started sketching, I just said a prayer that God would bring me some clarity in my design. After I said that prayer and continued sketching, this is the one that felt right to me. It is sort of a combination of many ideas I had and I really am happy with how it turned out.
For the name,I thought about it for a long time and this name felt right to me for a few reasons. Firstly, my name is Dara Frank and I wanted to include my name as part of the business name because I want it to be an expression of me and who I am. Secondly, the word Creative captures what I want to be, in many aspects of my life. I have always loved the phrase "created to create" and I believe part of what God is calling me to be is creative. I feel inspired looking around at everything He created and it’s a blessing that we have the ability to create beautiful things too. I want to use the gifts He's given me to be creative.
The leaf icon,I have always loved drawing florals like this and it symbolizes growth. This has been a big season of growth and change in my life with starting this business so it felt like the perfect representation for this next chapter.
The hidden paintbrush, this sort of happened on accident as I was sketching and I realized it fit perfectly as a subtle nod to what I do. One other small thing that has kind of become my artist signature is small dots. They’re very subtle but across a lot of work, I find myself using them so I of course incorporated them in my logo as well.
